PresetCan is a browser photo editor for film looks, color adjustment, grain, frames and AI reference-image color matching.

## Audience and workflow

For photographers and creators editing still photographs with film color, texture and framing. Sign in, open a photo, choose a look, adjust the image and export JPEG or PNG. AI Color Match uses an input image and a reference image to generate a reusable color result.

## Product status

- The web editor is available at [Editor](https://presetcan.com/app). An account is required to open a photo and edit.
- Web Pro subscriptions and AI credit packs are available through Stripe. Sign in to purchase. Checkout shows the final price and billing period.
- The iOS app accepts TestFlight applications at [PresetCan for iOS](https://presetcan.com/ios). Invitations are sent in batches; applying does not guarantee an immediate invitation. Web and iOS purchases are not linked.
- Public pages are available in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Japanese.

## Free web editor

## Import

- JPEG, PNG and WebP photos, plus supported RAW files.
- RAW extensions recognized by the editor: .arw, .cr2, .cr3, .nef, .nrw, .dng, .orf, .rw2, .raf, .pef, .srw, .raw, .rwl, .iiq, .3fr. A recognized extension does not guarantee every camera's file can be decoded.
- Maximum file size: 40 MiB (41,943,040 bytes).
- RAW decoding and original-size export support up to 32,000,000 pixels.
- HEIC and HEIF must be converted to JPEG or PNG before import.
- Color.io project files and grading sessions cannot be imported. The web editor does not provide 3D LUT file export.

## Editing and output

Film looks, tone and color adjustment, grain, frames and EXIF layouts are available in the browser. Transparent overlays can be created without a photo. Free photo export has a maximum long edge of 2048 pixels. Free transparent overlay export supports up to 4096 pixels; valid dimensions start at 240 pixels. Pro supports original-size JPEG and PNG export up to 32 megapixels and output quality controls.

## AI Color Match

Requires an account and credits. Only reduced input and reference copies with a maximum long edge of 640 pixels are uploaded for color analysis. The returned LUT is applied to the larger image locally. Delivered AI results support original-size JPEG and PNG export up to 32 megapixels; Pro materials and advanced parameters still require Pro. Technical failures do not consume a credit. Reusing a delivered result does not consume another credit. Film emulation and matching are creative approximations, so exact matches are not guaranteed.

## Data handling

Photos you select are used only to provide editing, preview, export, and related features you request. Standard film simulation and export are designed to run on your device.

When you actively use AI Color Match, PresetCan uploads reduced working copies of the input and reference images to our color-processing provider so it can analyze their color relationship and generate a LUT. On the website, these working copies have a maximum long edge of 640 pixels; the returned LUT is applied to the larger input image locally in your browser.

Saved custom presets, their small previews, delivered AI LUT results, credit history, and purchase records are stored privately with your account to support synchronization and recovery. Your original photos and editing drafts stay on your device.

We do not upload your photo library as a whole. Do not submit an image to AI Color Match unless you have the right to use it. The app requests Photos access only when you choose to open or save a photo, and you can change access at any time in iOS Settings.

- Cancel future renewals through Account and the Stripe billing portal. Pro remains available until the verified paid period ends.

## Can I edit before signing in?

Sign in to upload a photo and start editing. AI Color Match also requires an account.

## Can I try Pro content first?

Use Free to explore the editor. Pro has no subscription trial.

## Does Pro include AI credits?

No. Free and Pro accounts can both buy AI credits. Credits and existing results stay available if Pro ends.

## What happens when I cancel?

Pro stays active until the paid period ends. Your photos, edits, presets and AI credits are retained. After expiry, select 5 custom presets to keep using for free.

## Will this unlock the iOS app?

Web and iOS purchases are not linked. The iOS app is accepting TestFlight applications.

## What if my payment is still being confirmed?

Check your account for the existing order. Payment confirmation can take time; do not pay again.

## Are my photos uploaded?

Standard editing and export run locally. AI Color Match uploads reduced working copies (640 pixels maximum long edge) of the selected input and reference images. Saved presets, thumbnail previews, delivered AI results and transaction records are stored with your account. Original photos and editing drafts stay on your device.

## Can I export without a watermark?

Free JPEG and PNG photo export has no platform watermark and supports up to 2048 pixels on the long edge.

## Can I export a frame without a photo?

Yes. Use Overlay in the editor to export a transparent PNG. Free overlay export supports up to 4096 pixels.

## Can I import RAW or HEIC?

Some RAW formats are supported, up to 32 megapixels and a 40 MiB file limit. Camera compatibility depends on the decoder. HEIC and HEIF require conversion to JPEG or PNG. See [format details](https://presetcan.com/features.md).

## Is the iOS app publicly released?

The website accepts TestFlight applications. It does not advertise a public App Store download. Invitations are sent in batches as places open up.
