A guide to ultra-wide frames
Plan the composition before making a 5120 × 1080 overlay.
A wide canvas
5120 × 1080 is about 4.74:1. It is wider than 21:9 or 32:9. Keep the main subject visible when cropping and make a separate composition for vertical delivery.
Choose the final canvas
Use exact output dimensions. The overlay and your video sequence should match.
Shape the frame
Choose Matte or Film, border weight and corner radius. Preview with a photo when useful.
Export transparent PNG
No photo is required for an overlay. The center stays transparent. Place the PNG above footage in your video editor; create the video there.
Output limits
Overlay dimensions: 240–8192px per edge, up to 32 megapixels. Photo composites retain the account export limit and never enlarge the source.
